To complement our already great team, we are looking for a new Android Development Engineer which can help our team to get to the next level.

Your Role

You will mainly focus on:

• Improving the continuous integration, continuous delivery and automated testing cycle;
• Further professionalizing of the development process;
• Developing native mobile and tablet Android apps for our own business portal, used by our commercial clients in multiple countries worldwide.

Your Profile

Our ideal candidate can check off the majority of the following boxes:

• Master degree in Computer Science (or equivalent);
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
• Enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment, loves to learn about foreign cultures;
• Vast experience in software engineering;
• Terrific knowledge of Android SDK and Java, at least 2 years of experience with the Android platform;
• Passionate about technology, always up to date regarding new technologies in the Android world;
• Great knowledge of relational databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server;
• Able to develop clean, efficient and maintainable code.

You will receive bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of Swift or Objective-C and also can develop for iOS;
• Experience with another modern scripting language, e.g. Python or Ruby;
• Knowledge of NoSQL datastores;
• Knowledge of JavaScript and WEB 2.o applied in hybrid mobile development, e.g. in using frameworks such as Titanium or PhoneGap.
