Your Day-to-day Activities Include
- Innovate, design and implement new features
- Continuously improve and maintain existing functionalities
- Develop application tests, including unit, integration, regression and performance tests
- Code review
- Take ownership from design to deployment
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to define our future technology stack.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience with native Android software development, mastering technologies and concepts like Java, the Android SDK and Android Studio
- 3+ years experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Espresso), scripting languages (Gradle, Groovy, Python) and Jenkins or similar
- Experience with performance tuning, reusability and maintainability of mobile applications and applying architecture design patterns
- Experience building complex apps that have been successfully released to the marketplace
- You have developed at least three apps, with one available in the Play Store
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Strong eye for detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch not required)
- Comfortable with agile development processes (Scrum)
- Hands-on and nothing-is-impossible attitude
- Real team player
