At Sense, we combine sensors, signal processing, and machine learning to create context awareness. To enhance our core technology team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Mobile Developer who is not afraid of data and likes sensors and new innovative technology.

Job Description

Your main responsibility will be the development of our sensing technology for Android or iOS. This is implemented through a library that collects and processes data from smartphone sensors and provides interfaces to our cloud backend and the mobile front-ends of the products we create. This technology is at the core of all our solutions and will be used in many different apps.

Your responsibilities

Your main activities include the development of new functionalities for the real-time sensing library, the implementation of new algorithms, the optimization of the sensing for constraints like battery life, and staying abreast of relevant iOS and Android developments. You will be part of a passionate team that consists of AI engineers, mobile developers, cloud architects, and UX designers.

Your Development

In the near future, it is also expected that you will investigate the possibilities of other wearables combined with Android or iOS. We are a dynamic innovative company, and you are expected to contribute ideas and innovations for our future products, solutions, and technologies.

You have

  • a degree in embedded systems, computer science, artificial intelligence or a related field
  • solid, relevant programming experience (Github contributions or code samples preferred),
  • know about signal processing essentials,
  • experience with sensing and real-time algorithms,
  • pay attention to details,
  • team player that communicates proactively,
  • a self-starting mentality with an appetite for learning,
  • flexible mentality.
