We’re looking for an enthusiastic app developer, who has a passion to build state-of-the-art apps with great user experience. These apps for mobile devices, tablets and traditional computers are developed with HTML5 or native application frameworks and are capable of using the latest advances in device technology and cloud integration to realize a smooth application experience for business users.

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has a couple of years’ experience in building great UX apps, has knowledge about one or more app development frameworks and understands the requirements for modern, high-quality apps. You are creative, reliable and focused, and are familiar with agile development methods like Scrum and TDD. You will work in a dedicated international team of designers and developers. The open position is in Veenendaal, where we’re expanding our software development capacity.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

As an app developer, you will be part of a product development organization that builds standard solutions designed for Microsoft Dynamics and high quality cloud applications with connected apps based on latest state of the art technology. You will work in specific projects for developing and delivering business apps connected to cloud services.

You will be an app developer in the cloud applications team. You will build advanced UX apps based on the designs made by the UX designer and connected to the cloud services delivered by the cloud developers. Principal responsibilities will include:

• Apply creativity and technology to build great apps
• Participate in the Scrum development projects, following software engineering best practices
• Realize of mobile apps and web apps for businesses in the manufacturing domain
• Demonstrate the apps to stakeholders in the organization and beyond
• Stay up to date with new developments in UX and apps technology

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education (HBO/WO)
• 3-5 years of experience in modern app development for mobile and web
• Knack for developing creative, attractive UX apps
• Fluent in at least one modern programming language, such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, or other app frameworks
• Knowledge of web- and cloud technology, such as web services, REST, oAuth, ASP.Net, Node.JS
• Knowledge or experience in native mobile app development, for iOS, Android, Windows
• Knowledgeable in Scrum methodology and modern agile software development methods (TDD, CI)
• Proactive problem solver
• Drive to deliver high quality software solutions
• Strong communication skills (verbally and in writing) in Dutch and English
• Enthusiastic team player, yet able to work independently
• Proven portfolio of apps
