EV App Needs Android Developer (1420 views)

Our start-up, founded in 2009, offers advanced charging solutions for drivers of Electric Vehicles and their charge locations.

Our core activities are all set up to facilitate drivers of Plug-in Hybrid EV’s to drive as many electric kilometres as possible using green electricity. Electric (or hybrid) driving is a great experience but it’s also fantastic for the environment and on top of that – cheap!

So- what do we do?

In short: we manage and operate a European network that supplies online charging points with a custom made application. Yes, we know, that’s very brief, because of course we do many, many different things but we’d rather get into all of that when you’re over at our office getting to know each other!

What will you be doing?

• Develop the Android app for our customer facing services
• Work together with co-workers from very different backgrounds and disciplines
• Implement a responsive Android app based on accepted mockups
• Support architecture and design decisions

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience with Android development
• Interest in software design and app architecture
• Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban
• Experience with Unit Testing (TDD would be a plus)
• Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments
• Passionate about open source
• Good English: both spoken and written
• Experience with Kotlin is a plus
