To complement our already great team, we are looking for an iOS developer which can help our team to deliver our fantastic software tool.

We have created a software tool which our clients use to make daily decisions based on social media data. As an iOS developer, you will make sure that the work of our clients who use an Apple device gets easier. This is because we’ve enabled them to use our product everywhere and always. You will also develop new apps, and improve the existing ones. You will get a lot of responsibility, as you will take care of the development and functioning of the apps from the start.

Your Role

In this role, you will work closely together with the Android Developer. If you can and want to take on the Android Development as well: a combination is also possible!

• Develop and maintain new and existing applications & features
• Contribute to innovation and quality
• Mobile application development
• Make the translation between the customers’ vision and the technical possibilities
• Applying application standards, design patterns, best practices, etc.

Your Profile

First of all, you have – like everyone who works with us – passion for the job: this is a must! You understand which techniques will make the difference in the future, and know how to apply this knowledge in the (further) development of our apps. You know how to address the needs of the target group and analyze how you can make the technique work for our clients.

Eye for detail is indispensable in the role of iOS Developer, as well as a view to the future. You can quickly respond to the changing needs of our customers and are always up to date with the technological trends. You will get great responsibility, and are therefore self-directing and are able to take ownership of what you are working on. You are ambitious, like to challenge yourself, and want to get the best out of everything.

Our ideal candidate can check off the majority of the following boxes:

• You developed several apps that are used by many people;
• You have several years of demonstrated experience with native iOS development;
• You have experience with associated techniques like Objective-C and Xcode.
• You have excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written;
• You have experience with working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
• It would be nice if you enjoy making the visual design for the apps, with the help of the Adobe Creative Suite, but this is definitely not a must;
•  Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
• Knowledge of Social Media;
• Experience with tablet development would be great;
• Enjoys working in a multicultural environment, loves to learn about foreign cultures;
• Passionate about technology, always up to date regarding new technologies in the tech world;
• Able to develop clean, high-quality efficient and maintainable code.
