Our mobile projects have a high impact on the daily business of our clients. We are designing en developing innovative mobile solutions to push our clients to the next level. For our Android Development Team, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer who can take the lead in the projects and help develop his colleagues into experts.

The Job

Within projects, you will be technically responsible for the delivery. You have the final say in the software design and the technology decisions. You will mentor and help make the other Android Developer thrive within the projects and the company. Furthermore, thanks to your strategic vision and excellent execution skills, you will make every project as success.

With your team, you will design, develop and optimize native Android apps. The majority of those apps need to integrated with RESTful web services. Besides the other Android Developers, you work with other IT experts (e.g. UX Designers, Mobile Architects, iOS Developers, Engineers) to develop the best Mobile Enterprise Solutions.

About You

Obviously, you already have some experience in a Senior or Lead role. This could be by leading a team or being a project lead with delivery responsibilities. During that time you also spent an amount of time on the developing your team members, ideally in an Agile environment.

Furthermore, you have plenty of experience with and knowledge of Java and/or XML. You are also experienced with Android SDK and using RESTful APIs. You have a working knowledge of SCM and we can find one of your apps in the Google Play Store.

You can earn bonus points when you have proper knowledge of Objective-C and/or Swift. Same goes for HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
