Senior Mobile Android Developer (2207 views)

For our awesome Android team, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer who can bring us to the next level.

The Role

We work on projects for several clients, most of which will have a high impact on our clients’ travel. Seniors (yes, that is you as well) have responsibility for software design, technology decisions and the delivery of the project.

Besides mentoring and developing your team members, your main tasks will be:

• It’s kind of a no-brainer, but you will design, develop and implement native mobile Android apps
• Working with talented colleagues from other departments on building cool, innovative enterprise mobile solutions
• Integrating mobile apps with RESTful webservices
• Learning about cutting edge mobile technologies, trying to apply these technologies to new and existing projects

About You

You have successfully held a senior or lead position within another TECH firm. You have mentored several other developers and had delivery responsibilities. You are familiar with working in an Agile environment. Ideally, you have experience in implementing enterprise scale mobile solutions.

• You have completed an IT-related college or university in the direction of Computer Science or similar.
• You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in building business apps using JEE and you have worked in Scrum teams.
• You can communicate in English.
• You have knowledge of the constantly evolving tools: Gradle, Sonar, Bamboo, Git, Stash, Confluence, JIRA, Zeplin, frameworks and techniques for development and experience in application management and development methodologies.
• You have some knowledge about libraries: Mortar, RxJava.
• You are able to translate customer needs into practical innovations.
• You have good communication skills at various organizational levels.
