Your typical day with us will be filled with working on inspiring smartphone/tablet projects and products.  You’ll work on cross-platform applications and mobile-to-TV projects. This involves a lot of different kind of technologies like Chromecast, and you’ll use different languages like Java, Objective-c / Swift, Javascript, CSS and HTML. You will also be participating and making suggestions in our R&D projects (how cool is that?). As we said, boring is not a word in our company!

Your responsibilities will be lots of different things. Having responsibilities is something that we think is important as this will give you and us the opportunity to reach for the stars. You will be improving the skills of your co-workers (and vice versa) through training, assistance and guidance. You will be leading development of some of our core products. Developing state of the art coding solutions for all devices that is connected to your TV will be one of your core responsibilities. But also participating in generating ideas and the implementation for the core architecture is very important. And last but not least, you’ll be researching the newest of the newest technology to make sure we’re always one step ahead.

Requirements:

• Experience with Git, API’s, network sniffing (e.g. Wireshark, HTTP Scoop).
• Expert knowledge of HTML(5), CSS(3) and Javascript.
• Knowledge of design patterns, Objective-C for iOS, and Java for Android.
• A personal portfolio filled with web applications that’ll blow us away.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with developing Smart TV platforms, CoffeeScript, Node.js, RequireJS or other JavaScript-based languages.
• Experience with SASS, Less or other CSS preprocessor.
• Experience with Streaming Video and Video on Demand.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining a Linux server.
• You understand at least the basics of the Spanish and/or Dutch language.
• Experience in other programming languages like Java, Objective-C or PHP with Zend Framework.
