Lead Xamarin Developer – Mobile (1478 views)

Our mobile projects have a high impact on the daily business of our clients. We are designing en developing innovative mobile solutions to push our clients to the next level. For our Mobile Development Team, we are looking for a Lead Xamarin Developer who can take the lead in the projects and help develop his or her colleagues into experts.

The Job

Within projects, you will be technically responsible for the delivery. You have the final say in the software design and the technology decisions. You will mentor and help make the other Developers thrive within the projects and the company. Furthermore, thanks to your strategic vision and excellent execution skills, you will make every project as success.

With your team, you will design, develop and optimize our applications. The majority of those apps need to integrated with RESTful web services. Besides the other Mobile Developers, you work with other IT experts (e.g. UX Designers, Mobile Architects, iOS Developers, Android Developers, Engineers) to develop the best Mobile Enterprise Solutions.  You will integrate mobile apps with RESTful web services. You’ll also work on leading edge technologies (Cloud, BLE Beacons, Voip, Wearable technologies).

The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and solid execution skills to create native applications for mobile devices.

About You

Obviously, you already have some experience in a Senior or Lead role. This could be by leading a team or being a project lead with delivery responsibilities. During that time you also spent an amount of time on the developing your team members, ideally in an Agile environment.

Technical skills

• Strong experience in complex enterprise (Native) mobile app builds in C#

As Senior we also expect you to be strongly developed in the use of: 

• Architectuur: MvvmCross
• Xamarin Libraries
• Xamarin.Forms
• Xamarin native iOS and Android
• Mobile Cross-Platform

You are experienced in: 

• Xamarin UITest
• Xamarin Test Cloud

Demonstrated expertise in: 

• Xamarin framework
• Using RESTful APIs to integrate mobile applications to server side systems
• Working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and proper Git Flow

It’s a bonus if you have experience with:

• HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
• JAVA, Objective-C, or swift
• UI tests and Test Driven Development
