Very Senior Dev Engineer (1560 views)

To complement our already great team, we are looking for a new Senior Dev Engineer (Java, Javascript, AngularJS, Spring) which can help our team to deliver complex mission-critical software solutions.

Your Role

You will mainly focus on:

• New multi-product and multi-country Portal;
• Building mobile security (and encryption) solutions;
• Building in-house software solutions in response to business needs;
• Streamlining our development process from A to Z, in collaboration with Ops colleagues and using the best tools (e.g. Jira, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, etc);
• Improving our continuous integration;
• Increasing automated test coverage;
• Getting us to the next level of maturity with respect to continuous delivery.

Your Profile

Our ideal candidate can check off the majority of the following boxes:

• Master degree in Computer Science (or equivalent);
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
• Minimum of 5 years software engineering experience in creating high scalability mission-critical apps;
• Excellent knowledge of Java 7/8 including the Spring framework 3.x/4.x and/or JEE 6.0/7.0;
• Extensive knowledge of OS fundamentals with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows Server 2008/2012);
• A working knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS and modern WEB 2.0 development;
• Experience with at least one modern scripting language;
• Knowledge of Scala and Akka;
• Sound knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL;
• Enjoys working in a multicultural environment, loves to learn about foreign cultures;
• Passionate about technology, always up to date regarding new technologies in the tech (iOS) world;
• Able to develop clean, high-quality efficient and maintainable code.
