Job Description

As a Mobile Developer, you are responsible for developing, testing and the release of applications for mobile devices, for (at least) one of the major mobile technologies / platforms. You create proper and stable code and are responsible for documentations of the code. You are responsible for integration of third party services (f.e. back end systems, databases). You partner with designers to help define and implement user interface and interaction. You write user, testing and technical documentation. You provide feedback to Project management during the project trajectory on progress and issues; you discuss and provide options with regards to planning and technical requirements. You are responsible for technical design and architecture of applications.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of at least one, but preferably both of the platforms (iOS and Android)
• Experience with consuming (and preferably building) REST API’s
• Experience in Scrum concepts and/or DevOps methodologies is a big plus
• At least 4 years of experience in a commercial environment
• The internet of things is not new to you

• You have a curious mind and you are original in your development, you can come up with out-of-the-box solutions and have no fear of design or technology
• You have empathy with clients and users and have good communication skills
• You have strong analytical skills and are able to translate abstract requirements into fitting (customer) solutions
• You are able to work according to planning
• You are able to work both individually as well as in a team and are experienced in coaching and assisting other (junior) developers
• You have a relevant college/university degree and your English language skills are good (both spoken and written)
• You <3 the internet of things
