What To Expect
You are an awesome Android developer who likes to work on new products with interdisciplinary teams. You have experience in mobile software development, preferably with different technologies as well like building APIs with Java, Python or Scala. Our clients have very high demands and want to be ahead in online communication. That’s why it’s important you have experience with building quality products. Your personality is extremely important te become successful. You are going for great results, have a healthy drive and not afraid to step up and take responsibility.
As Software Engineer you get a lot of freedom to organize your work. With a lot of different clients, nationally and internationally, we can offer you all sorts of projects that will suit your needs and expectations. If you want learn a technology into detail we can put you on one of our clients teams with very specific tasks. But do you think it is more interesting to gain knowledge and skills in several technologies? We will let you work on small projects.
Your Day-to-day Activities Include
- Innovate, design and implement new features
- Continuously improve and maintain existing functionalities
- Develop application tests, including unit, integration, regression and performance tests
- Code review
- Take ownership from design to deployment
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies to define our future technology stack.
Qualifications
- Excellent with Android software development, mastering technologies and concepts like Java, the Android SDK and Android Studio
- Experience with Scrum and/or Agile practices, automated testing and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with performance tuning, reusability and maintainability of mobile applications and applying architecture design patterns
- Experience building APIs with Java, Python or Scala
- Experience building complex apps that have been successfully released to the marketplace
- Strong analytical aptitude
- Strong eye for detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch would be highly appreciated)
- Hands-on and nothing-is-impossible attitude
- Real team player
