To extend our software development team we are looking for an experienced Mobile Software Engineer for our awesome IoT Apps . We expect a positive and assertive team player who has a strong desire to succeed in a technically demanding, team- and customer-oriented environment.
Mobile Software Engineer
As a software engineer, you have the unique opportunity to work on our customers’ high-tech IoT Apps. You will have a key role in choosing the best tools/technologies, design, implementation and testing. The team you will work with consists of both highly experienced co-workers and juniors, in different kinds of positions, each having their own specific talent. We need your talent to be in the area of software engineering. Technology is your passion and you’re always on top of new developments – you can’t wait to gain new skills with new tools/toys.
Your biggest responsibility will be to develop our apps on (embedded) mobile devices for Android & iOS. Day-to-day tasks will be performing unit tests, setting up the software architecture, making software designs, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. For example: you will be the go-to person when it comes to translating requirements into functional and technical design, and realizing it. Not one day will be the same as the other!
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in IT or similar
- At least 3 years experience in technical software development
- Experience with Python, Java, C, Linux
- Experience with development of and integration with communication stacks
- Experience with SCRUM or similar
- Fluency in English is a must, Dutch is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Team-worker but also independent and trustworthy
- High-quality code is your second name
