The Job

Your primary responsibility will be owning the development of our mobile platforms, but you’ll be asked to wear different hats as needs arise.

Day-to-day Activities

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Architect, design and develop application software for Android devices
• Port applications to/from several different development environments, running different mobile operating systems (iPhone, Windows Mobile, RIM OS, Symbian, Amazon)
• Work closely with product management and quality teams on feature definitions, release milestones and project tracking

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Information Systems
• At least 2-3 years of work experience developing applications on Android
• Java/J2ME/J2SE
• WSDL, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and processing data (XML/JSON)
• Experience with Android (Android SDK) and Eclipse IDE
• SQL Database
• Java, Android (Android SDK), Eclipse IDE, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, iPhone OS, C/C++,XML
• Knowledge of web services and WSDL
• Memory management, file I/O, network & socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and System Architecture
• Agile Development Methodology
