WorkingClassHeroes’ client is a first class mobile solution provider, working mostly with medium-to-large clients, marketing agencies and other brands. Joining them, your role would be to work closely with UX specialists, designers, product managers and customers, to help design and create apps which are not only beautiful, but also extremely efficient. This a pure hands-on role in an innovating and dynamic market, giving you the opportunity to craft the most excellent mobile and tablet software, with the option to work in the Netherlands, our other office in Turkey, but also various other worldwide locations.

Main Responsibilities as iOS & Tablet Software Developer

- Designing and programming software, efficient features and extensive services
This role is largely focused on programming apps, features and services for iOS mobile and tablet devices using both native and cross platform tools based on our internal roadmap. You’ll play a key part in taking software from brief to reality, helping with design, estimation of timelines, coding, QA, troubleshooting and code debugging.

– Being a teamplayer, sharing knowledge
You’ll work with the best of our in-house team throughout the development process, feeding back realistic time estimates, and helping shape the result to perfection and avoid mistakes before they become an intrinsic part of the project.

Qualifications

• 
  At least 1 year experience working on iOS projects, skilled using Xcode, iOS SDK and Cocoa Touch, with apps released on the App Store.
• 
  Thorough understanding of Object Oriented software design and related methodologies.
• 
  Experience in web development, including knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript, and technologies dealing with the cross-over of apps and the web, such as JSON and XML
• 
  A flexible thinker, someone who thrives on solving tricky problems
• 
  Experience working in an agile development environment, with a focus on user-centric design
• 
  A passion for getting the details right. You need to be aware of the qualities that separate the good mobile and tablet apps from the great ones, and know how to make the ones you work on the latter.
• 
  Good communication and relationship skills. This role involves working with a range of people from designers to end users.
• 
  Fluent in English

Desirable skill-sets:

• 
  Knowledge of and experience with working with cross-platform mobile technologies such as HTML 5, jQuery, Sencha Touch.
• 
  Experience of working with CMS systems/interfacing.
• 
  Educated to degree level, ideally in Computing Science.
