You will be part of our scrum team, consisting of a Quality Engineer and 6 HTML5/JS developers. The team is offering not only 3rd line support for our customers, but they’re also responsible for maintaining our browser-based customer software, and improving it. They work closely together with the stakeholders, the UX team, the Product Owner and the Scrum Master. The most important task of the team is to make all software mobile friendly. They do this by (among other things) increasing the efficiency of the code, responsiveness, and by using mobile first design. You will assist the team to improve the responsive HTML5/JS app quality!

Your responsibility will be everything from frontend to backend and across platforms. As the Quality Engineer Mobile Apps you will be implementing and defining the testing strategy for our apps. You’ll work together with the agile development team, but you’ll also give support to the other testers within the company.

You will:

• Define the testing strategy of mobile apps.
• Research and implement the newest, greatest testing tools, applications and methodologies.
• Be responsible for product quality ensuring the product meets specified requirements.
• Evaluate and test new or modified software applications.
• Design and develop automated test suites.
• Design and execution of performance tests (including longevity, stability, latency, throughput).
• Research and make recommendations to create a stable test infrastructure.
• Produce documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, correction and to help establish guidelines.

Your profile:

• You’re a very experienced  Quality Engineer, Software Developer or a Test Automation Engineer. You have outstanding knowledge about automated testing of Android and iOS applications and of course responsive HTML5/JS applications.
• Bachelor/Master degree in engineering or computer science.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Programming skills in automated tests for Web UI and Web Services API (REST, SOAP), in Java or C#.
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS.
• Knowledge of Selenium.
• Analytical and pragmatic.
• Team-player with good communication skills.
