Android Application Jedi (1655 views)

For a new international project with top priority, we are a looking for an experienced Android Application Jedi. A small team of field experts will focus on developing a new, highly important strategic application for our international businesses.

The Quest

Together with a team of business developers, DevOps and UX’ers, you will create an appealing customer proposition. Your part of the quest will focus on designing, developing, testing, improving and maintaining a new Android app.

Of course, the visual aspect of the app should not be overlooked and is very important for the customer experience. As this will be an app handling sensitive customer banking data, it is important that you have experience with and knowledge of security (e.g. SSL).

Scrum is a part of our daily work life, enabling us to release new versions frequently. As mentioned, you will not be alone on this quest. The other team members are highly skilled and professional. But, having fun is as well a crucial part of this exciting journey.

The Ideal Jedi is Trained in:

• Computer Science or equivalent (Bachelor or higher)
• Android development (min. 3 years)
• Coding with Java (min. 5 years)
• Setting up automated testing
• Working with Continuous Integration Tools (e.g. GIT, Gradle, Nexus)
• Conversing and having fun with colleagues
• Scrum and/or Agile processes
• UI development, Social Media APIs and tablet development
• Working with XML, JSON and security
