Job description
As a senior software engineer, you have the unique opportunity to develop tools for all aspects of mobile development: run-time frameworks, both client- and server side; editors; compilers; deployment tooling.
You work with our Synergy based code repository on platforms like UNIX, Linux and Windows and using tools like Visual Studio and Make. Most of our back-end code is written in C and C++. For parts of our web offering, we use JavaScript. For our mobile offering, we will use new tools and technologies.
Your day-to-day activities
You will contribute to the creation of development, deployment and management tools that allow bringing our applications to mobile platforms. You will play a key role in choosing the appropriate tools and technologies and in designing, implementing and testing the solution.
Skill Requirements
• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science.
• Technology-minded and willing to learn new skills.
• Experience in an agile environment, such as Scrum, is preferred.2 or more years of experience in application development
• 1 – 2 years of experience in development of applications for mobile platforms, and/or web applications for mobile platforms.
• Experience with tools and frameworks required for mobile development, web-based, hybrid and appstore-based, such as Apache Cordova, PhoneGap, jQuery, Kendo UI, Titanium, mobile SDKs (Android, Cocoa Touch) and similar tools.
• Programming skills in Java, C, C++, Objective-C or similar;
• Experience using HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Good communication skills in English
