Work in the beautiful center of Amsterdam on one of the most exciting electric driving apps out there. We’re looking for Mobile Developers, both on Android and iOS.

About Us

We help make electric driving fun and easy. Our app has been downloaded tens of thousands of times and helps drivers reach their destination without any worry.

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re always looking to improve products and services. For the app we will replace the current app with a new iOS version. The new iOS app will be developed in Swift. At the same time we will be redeveloping an Android app. The main focus of the new apps will be to interact with our drivers and to get their feedback. Users will be able to log in, manage a user profile and provide feedback via the app.To get all of this done you will work closely with backend developers who are developing our main applications in Scala, exposing REST APIs and will be responsible for the following:

• Make sure the app gets tested with the proper tools
• Getting the app into the app store
• Translate requirements and mock-ups into fully functioning features
• Develop new and existing iOS application features
• Implement conversion experiments (A/B tests)
• Partner with our UX/UI designer to setup basic functionalities, help define and implement user interface improvements.
• Work with team members on server-side integration
• Work in an agile team using Jira, BitBucket, Kanban

Requirements

We expect developers to take responsibility for their own work and basically work without a manager keeping them on track. We empower you to make decisions on your own, and provide feedback if you need it. Together we want to make this app the number one electric driving app in Europe!

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Positive attitude towards working with Swift (experience is a plus)
• Experience with testing tools (e.g. Testflight)
• Experience with getting apps into the app store
• Professional experience with HTML5 and JavaScript is a plus
• Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments
• Self-starter, great sense of responsibility, team-player
• Experience working with A/B testing is a plus
• Passionate about open source
• Excellent English: both spoken and written
