Your Profile

The person we’re looking for is always pushing him-/herself to create the best and most innovative technology. To be able to do this, he/she needs relevant working experience in designing and developing iOS apps via Xcode and Objective-C. It doesn’t hurt if you already have some experience with Android and/or Windows Phone as well!

In order to fulfill this role to the fullest, you have to be skilled in working with Web-services (e.g. using JSON). Furthermore, you’re familiar with the ins and outs of the iOS App life-cycle. Object Oriented programming has no secrets for you. You like to stay up-to-date of all new developments within the iOS universe and not afraid to try out new technologies for existing or upcoming projects.

You can easily translate requirements into technical concepts and the implementation of those concepts. The only way to work for you, is to work in a team of other technical experts. You enjoy frequent discussions with your front-end and back-end parts. Finally, you’re able to write clean and elegant code, which is easy to test and easy to maintain for you and others.

The Role

A typical day will be filled with different tasks. Think of; writing of Objective-C code based on wire frames or Visual Design, writing unit tests, building iOS apps, performance optimization of existing and new apps and intense collaboration with other teams on new features and apps.

These are of course your basic tasks, but every day is different and there will be plenty of other tasks. With all this responsibilities and variation, we’re sure that you’ll have a great time doing what you’re best at.

Your Skill Set

Our ideal candidate has a very diverse skill set and has mastered the majority of the following skills:

• Bachelor/Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or similar,
• 3+ Years experience with iOS development,
• Great understanding of and working experience with Objective-C
• Launched 2 or more apps in the App Store,
• Familiar with Web-services and data exchange formats,
• Working with certificates,
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

• Started learning working with Swift, Android, Windows Phone and Java,
• Have lead a team of developers before,
• Thrive in an Agile Development environment,
• Have some experience in working with 3rd party libraries, graphics libraries and offline data.
